Living on One Income

Except for one in case of emergencies.

But for all the others which you keep on receiving through the mail, either ignore them, throw them into the bin, or if you can't trust yourself enough that you wouldn't pick it up again, just plainly cut it into 2 or 5 or 10 pieces, either way you want it, just make sure that you wouldn't have a chance to use it.

As I'm sure you have read it somewhere, "if you can't pay for it in cash, you can't afford it". This should be our battlecry, because for sure, life will not be so much difficult if we will instill this in our minds. It doesn't matter whether you are living in a one-income family or a two-income family, the same rule applies.
